1. Your relationship with UJOB

1.1 Your use of the UJOB website (the "Website") and any products and Services provided to you from the Website by UJOB ("Service") is subject to the Terms and Conditions of a legal agreement between you and the owners of UJOB. "the owners of UJOB" means Internet Evolution Ltd, company number 05425087.

1.2 The Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the Website, this includes users who have contributed content, information, data, images, video and any other Service to UJOB.

2. Accepting the Terms and Conditions

2.1 You must agree to the Terms and Conditions in order to use the Service. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions you may not use the Service

2.2 You can accept the Terms and Conditions by simply using the Service. You understand and agree that UJOB will treat your use of the Service as acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

2.3 You may not accept the Terms and Conditions and may not use the Service if you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with UJOB, or if you are a person who is legally prohibited from receiving or using the Service under the laws of the country in which you are resident or from which you access or use the Service.

2.4 You should save a local copy of the Terms and Conditions or print off a copy for your records.

4. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

4.1 UJOB may make changes to the Terms and Conditions from time to time. When these changes are made, UJOB will make a new copy of the Terms and Conditions available at {$URL}terms.

4.2 You understand and agree that if you use the Service after the date on which the Terms and Conditions have changed, UJOB will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

5. UJOB user accounts

5.1 In order to access certain features of the Website, you will be required to create a UJOB user account. When creating your user account, you must provide accurate and complete information.

5.2 You must notify UJOB straight away of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your UJOB user account that you become aware of.

5.3 You agree to take sole responsability (to UJOB, and to others) for all activity that occurs under your UJOB user account.

5.4 You agree to take sole responsability for (and that UJOB has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any breach of your obligations under the Terms and Conditions and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which UJOB may suffer) of any such breach.

8. Copyright and User Submitted Content

8.1 As a UJOB client account holder you may submit textual content ("User Submitted Content"). You understand that UJOB does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any User Submitted Content.

8.4 You warrant and represent to UJOB that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks or other material supplied to UJOB for inclusion in the Website are owned by you, or that you have permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements and that UJOB's use of such material shall not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

9. Client Submitted Content

9.1 You accept that by using the Website and the Service, you may be exposed to User Submitted Content that are factually inaccurate or otherwise objectionable to you. You hereby agree to waive any legal claims you may have against UJOB with respect to any such User Submitted Content.

9.2 You agree that you will not post or upload any unlawful User Submitted Content.

9.3 UJOB reserves the right to remove any User Submitted Content and/or terminate a Clients's access at any time.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

10.1 When you upload or post a property profile submission or other material to UJOB, you hereby grant:

  1. to UJOB, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence (with right to sub-licence) to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that User Submission in connection with the provision of the Service and otherwise in connection with the provision of the Website and UJOB's business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels;
  2. to each user of the Website, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, licence to access your User Submitted Content through the Website, and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such User Submitted Content to the extent permitted by the functionality of the Website and under these Terms and Conditions.

10.2 When you upload or post a property profile submission or other material to UJOB, you warrant and represent that your Contribution;

  1. is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to VFH for all the purposes specified above and that it does not breach or infringe anyone elses rights such as copyright or in is in any way illegal;
  2. if is not your original work, you clearly indicate the source/origin and the author and warrant that you have all permissions and/or licence to reproduce such work;
  3. is not defamatory, libellous, obscene, menacing, threatening, offensive, abusive, fraudulent or criminal;
  4. will not and does not contravene any relevant local, national or international law or incite or encourage the contravention of any such law;
  5. is not otherwise offensive;

11. Limitation Of Liability

11.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit UJOB's liability for death or personal injury resulting from UJOB's negligence or that of its employees, agents or sub-contractors.

11.2 The entire liability of UJOB to the user in respect of any claim whatsoever or breach of this Agreement, whether or not arising out of negligence, shall be limited to the Price paid by that user for the service.

11.3 In no event shall UJOB be liable to the Customer for any loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of profits or for any other indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever. This shall apply even where such a loss was reasonably foreseeable or UJOB had been made aware of the possibility of the Customer incurring such a loss.

12. Governing Law And Jurisdiction

12.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

13 Third Party Interaction

13.1 Your interactions with organizations and/or individuals found on or through the Website, including payment and delivery of goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such organizations and/or individuals. You should make whatever investigation you feel necessary or appropriate before proceeding with any online or offline transaction with any of these third parties. You agree that UJOB shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings. If there is a dispute between participants on this site, or between users and any third party, you understand and agree that we are under no obligation to become involved. In the event that you have a dispute with one or more other users, you hereby release UJOB, its officers, employees, agents and successors in rights from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind or nature, known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way related to such disputes and / or our service.

14. External Links

14.2 Occasionally, links from our site lead to pages maintained by other organisations. These links are provided purely for your convenience, and do not imply that UJOB endorses or supports those organisations, the information on their pages, or their products or services in any way. Additionally, no responsibility is assumed by UJOB for the contents of its pages.

Candidates Online Database

  1. All details stored online are collected solely for access by the site management and selected recruitment agencies and employers.
  2. We intend to limit access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) only to paying employers, recruiters, hiring managers, head-hunters, and human resource professionals, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database.
  3. We are not responsible for the use made of resumes by third parties who access such resumes while they are in our searchable database.
  4. You may remove your resume by emailing us at remove_cv@ujob.co.uk, but, employers, recruiters and others who have paid for access to the resume database or to obtain a copy of that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access may have retained a copy of your resume or registration details in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes or profiles in these instances.
  5. You may review, correct, update or change your account information at any time. To change your account information, simply log into your account, review your account information and, if you wish, edit it with the options provided.

Listings

  1. All vacancies must be genuine job vacancies.
  2. Each listing may remain on the ujob.co.uk website for a maximum of twelve weeks. Those customers with multiple or complimentary registration agreements may resubmit listings if required after the twelve weeks duration expires.
  3. Vacancies with identical job descriptions should be listed in a single advert, and not into multiple listings.
  4. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on ujob.co.uk complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Ujob.co.uk will not take responsibility for any error, omission or inaccuracy in advertising material.
  5. Ujob.co.uk reserves the right to alter material and formatting requests submitted by customers.
  6. Organisations that are permitted to have complimentary listings are only permitted to list vacancies within their own workforce. The free listings are not transferable to partner companies, members, clients etc.
  7. Ujob.co.uk reserves the right to both remove listings at no notice to the customer, and also reject any requests for listings.
  8. By advertising on Ujob.co.uk, advertisers agree to their job listings being added to RSS feeds, and subsequently being listed on other jobs websites.
