Unix (Solaris) Systems Administrator – London

My client is one of the U.K’s leading online organisations, due to further growth they have a requirement for a Unix System Administrator to work from their London based offices. This is going to be a very varied and challenging role for the right person(s), and as such we are really looking for very strong Unix people, specifically with Solaris and experience within a web hosting environment.

The technical environment for this role is extremely varied, and ideally we are looking with candidates familiar with extensive 3rd line Solaris support experience on a large scale with strong scripting skills (shell and or Perl) with strong analytic skills and use of diagnostic tools such as truss, mdb,dtrace.

Technically are looking for candidates familiar with: Solaris administration, Apache or Tomcat experience and administration experience of Mysql or Informix.
