Project Manager, 28k – 35k per annum, West Midlands. Responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects within the marine and off shore industries.
Duties
Management of assigned projects for the supply of fully integrated off shore and marine handling systems
Responsible for all stages of projects from initial enquiry, design, purchasing, production, testing and commissioning.
Co ordinate projects to time, quality and cost performance targets
Ensuring all contractual obligations are met
Maintain communication and contact with customers throughout the project
Co ordinate activities by other internal departments and sub contractors
Working on site as required
Skills and Experience
Project Management experience preferably in a similar engineering environment
Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification e.g. degree, HND
Experience of contract negotiation and contract terms / law
Experience of working with customers, suppliers and sub contractors
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate others
Problem solving skills
I.T skills including Ms Office and Ms Project
Prepared to work on site world wide
Salary is negotiable between £28k – 35k per annum, 33 days holiday including statutory holidays, stakeholder pension scheme available.
