Our client requires a Technical Project Manager to plan, manage and report on all of the IT elements of the Programme currently underway. The IT delivery comprises infrastructure delivery, voice systems delivery, site commissioning, application integration, CRM application delivery, MIS and credit control functionality delivery.
The candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft technologies and should have experience from organisations that have a branch office / data centre structure. The candidate will have had an IT career track and will have held roles in applications delivery and infrastructure delivery and will be able to use this experience to make the right decisions to ensure on-time quality deliveries.
Candidates will have at least 5 years of Project Management experience. At least 2 of those years will have been working as Infrastructure Services Manager or Infrastructure Project Manager for a blue chip organisation. You will need to be Prince II certified. You will need to demonstrate a successful track record of delivery and exposure to support practices within an ITIL framework. Strong project management, operations management, supplier management, customer facing skills and technical understanding are essential.
Technology experience required:
•Experience of building interfaces between third party applications
•Experience of Microsoft technologies, eg SQL Server and Microsoft CRM
•Experience of Management Information systems, Business Objects preferred
Prepared to travel within the UK
