My client is a world renowned construction company with offices all over the UK and the rest of the world. The currently employ over 60,000 people and have a turn over in excess of £5 billion.
They have an award wining portfolio of work in all areas of construction; education, regeneration, roads, health, rail, commercial and defence.
They require a Managing Estimator/Bid Manager to join their Building services department. The successful Managing Estimator/Bid Manager will head up a team of up to 7 Estimators working on projects various Mechanical and Electrical projects ranging in value from £50,000 to over £2Million.
The successful Managing Estimator/Bid Manager will also deal with tendering and bidding fro new work.
Requirements:
Ideally over 10 years Estimating/Bid Management experience
Experience managing a team preferred but not essential
Main contractor background
Mechanical and Electrical experience preferred but not essential
