Network Engineer - Cisco, Cisco Call Manager, Extreme
My client is a rapidly expanding security solutions company and is looking for Network Engineers to join their dynamic vibrant team of based in Bolton.
Responsibilities of the successful Network Engineer will involve supporting and identifying either on site or remotely, issues affecting customer systems. It is essential that the successful Network Engineer be able to formulate and implement plans to resolve any issues that arise.
This role will be around 90% client facing and so excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and develop relationships is essential.
As a Network Engineer the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years providing security solutions in a technical support role. You must also have implementation and support experience with one or more of the following products – Cisco, Extreme, Juniper, Crossbeam or Exinda. A
Any formal accreditation with the products mentioned above is very desirable in particular Cisco and Extreme. Experience with IT security is also desirable and you must be able to work under pressure to tight timescales and be committed to achieving goals.
