Overview
Proposals Manager / Refurb Proposals Manager Overview; We are working with a Main Contractor that specialises in and is dedicated to the provision of construction related services to the London Underground Network. This is an exciting position that would suit a Construction or Refub Project Manager or Contracts Manager. This Main Contractor is a subsidiary of one of the leading names in the Construction industry and this position is based in their Surrey Office.
The Role of the Proposals Manager;
Working within station Refurb, a Proposals Manager is required to identify potential opportunities; support and co-ordinate the Business Managers to establish key customer contacts and lead the Proposals process from production of prequalification questionnaires to arranging tender hand-over to operational teams on successful bids, and tender de-brief and implement lessons learnt. This is an interesting opportunity which would suit a Project Manager or Contracts Manager who has a good solid Construction or Refurb background; this is an office based position in Surrey, near London.
The requirements of the Proposals Manager;
- You will have the ability to lead meetings and present to potential clients
- Your background will be that of Project Manager or Contracts Manager with a leading Main Contractor
- You will have substantial experience in Construction and Refurb
- You\'ll need excellent customer facing skills
- Good organisational and negotiating skills
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure
What can the successful Proposal Manager expect in return?
- Salary between £50k and £60k

Although this position is office based in Surrey, frequent client and site visits will be required.
