Role- Infrastructure Project Manager
Location- Surrey base
Duration- 3 Months Initially
Rate - Circa £400-450
The Systems Development Infrastructure Project Manager control infrastructure projects within a matrix management environment. Technical resource pools are managed by the Operations Managers and the Resource Manager.
The SD Infrastructure Project Managers are responsible for running multiple projects. Some of the responsibilities are:
•Monitor and control team performance against each plan
•Provide reports to user Managers
•Provide reports to Senior IT Managers
•Monitor and control expense and capital costs against the project budget
•Deliver the project with resources allocated
•Assess the effect of change on the projects with respect to costs, timescale and resource needs and report these appropriately.
•Liaise with other managers within IT and the business
•Manage expectations for the projects.
A background of technical / infrastructure IT experience is absolutely required ideally prince 2 qualified.
