Purchasing Manager (materials)

Up to £45000 + 5% pension + 25 days holiday + bonus + relocation allowance
You will play a key part in the senior management team where will and have complete responsibility for purchasing all raw materials for the company at a current value of £88 million.
This role will suit a results driven purchasing manager looking for an autonomous role where you can make strategic business decisions.
Due to continued growth, this is expected to increase to £100 million during the next year.
Part of a worldwide group, this well established manufacturer supplies a unique solution into a varied market place including automotive and aerospace industries. Due to a recent acquisition, huge investment is taking place across the site and they are currently focusing on improving their manufacturing and maintenance process to maximise their future success.
This role will be most suited to applicants with experience in purchasing raw materials looking for a senior position where you can use your knowledge to make an impression on a world leader.
The role:
* Responsible for purchasing all raw materials and utilities.
* In line with changing material availability and cost, regularly review purchase specifications.
* Worked to agreed cash flow budgets.
* Provide regular data to the company financial director in regards to future cash flows associated with raw materials.
* Aware of up to date manufacturing strategy.
* Present any significant changes in your field of activity to the financial director e.g. supply restrictions, key price trends etc.
The person required:
* Ideally degree or professional qualification (CIPS for example).
* Proven experience in a purchasing raw materials.
* Results driven and innovative in approach.
