Graduate position with structured training and where you will move around company departments with a view to be a team leader or senior technical specialist level within 5 years.

The Role:
* Produce drawings using AutoCAD for both customers and manufacturing
* Produce BOM using our MRP system for engineered to order projects and new standard products.
* Perform Risk assessments on existing and new designs
* Manage research and development projects to improve and add to company portfolio of products.
* Support manufacturing and QA by problem solving manufacturing and design related problems
* Perform and organise testing of new and engineered to order products
* Perform design calculations for engineered to order products and new development projects
* Design new products with consideration of manufacturing and cost

The Candidate:
* Mechanical engineering degree qualified.
* Strong communication skills.
* Interest in engineering outside of academic qualifications ESSENTIAL.
* Initiative and ability to organise own work loads.
Remuneration:
£18000 - £20000 rising to £28,412 in 5 years + pension + 25 days holiday
