Engineering Services Team Leader
With strong knowledge of PDM and / or MRP systems, you will build and develop a team, implementing changes and improvements.
Your team will produce technical manuals and have responsibility for all technical support services to include the PDM systems and MRP systems. This role is a new position created at a time when this area of the company is undergoing change. Therefore you will be a key player in the successful implementation of a new PDM and MRP system. Overtime you will grow the team; enabling them to take responsibility for more support services currently handled else where in the business.
As part of a larger worldwide group, the company design and manufacture, bespoke high precision mechanical equipment, supplying a variety of industries worldwide. The company are constantly developing their product range to ensure their competitiveness in the worldwide marketplace and consequently have a full order book.

The Role:
* Managing a small team of 3 including 2 technical authors. This team is expected to grow over time.
* 50:50 split between management and technical work.
* Key in implementing SAP and A PDM system ( winchill).
* Key in introducing ProEngineer to the design engineering teams.
* Technical documentation / manuals.
The Candidate:
*Knowledge of PDM and MRP systems.
*Supervisory experience / desire to move into a team leader role.
* Technical / manufacturing / engineering background.
Remuneration:
£25000 - £30000 + pension + 25 days holiday
£30000.00 p/a
