Job Description
A multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their existing team in Derbyshire.
•You will be working, when necessary, with minimal supervision
•You will be required to liaise with a variety of clients and sub-contractors.
•Prepare high quality proposals, assessments and reports
•Possess excellent management skills to ensure own time is used effectively and to supervise and mentor more junior staff
About You
•Hold a first degree in either Geology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering
•Ideally hold post-graduate qualification in geotechnical engineering or a related discipline
•Be able to demonstrate a solid track record working within the industry
•Be experienced specifically in designing and carrying out site investigations, preparing desk study, factual and interpretative reports and carrying out geotechnical design.
•Ideally experience should include but not necessarily be limited to providing foundation recommendations/design, retaining wall design, slope stability analysis and earthworks design.
