£16,000 - £19,000 DOE (Basic) OTE £25,000 - £30,000
Our client is the leading Internet security provider that protects over a million networks worldwide. Offering a suite of firewall, web content filtering and VPN solutions, they have many customers including SMEs, and education and enterprise users. They now have an opportunity for a Client Account Manager to join their winning team.

As a Client Account Manager you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers and identifying new revenue opportunities within those accounts.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer relationships via the phone and email
- Effectively managing enquiries, including distribution of leads and tracking the progress of those leads
- Prospecting for up and cross selling opportunities within accounts
- Occasionally prospecting for new business
- Using the CRM system to maintain customer records and schedule future activity
To succeed as the Client Account Manager you must have the ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, and you will need a confident and friendly telephone manner. You must also have GCSEs and A Levels (or equivalent), along with familiarity with MS Outlook, Word and Excel, and some commercial work experience.
A BSc or BA degree (or equivalent) would be preferable, as would any previous sales experience, though these are not essential as product training will be provided.
As the Client Account Manager you must be energetic, confident, enthusiastic, and have a friendly personality. It is important that you are also reliable and punctual, and a good team player with the ability to work under pressure and hit your sales targets.
Occasional travel or attendance at trade shows may be necessary as required by the needs of the company.
